After a lawyer said "I object" to a promotional video of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' allegedly showing lawyers in poor light, a local court on Wednesday ordered an inquiry against Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and producers and promoters of the show.

Chief metropolitan magistrate S V Parekh ordered a court inquiry to be completed by August 21 against Rajkumar Bidvatki of Multi Screen Media Pvt Ltd; Siddharth Basu of Big Synergy Media Ltd; producers, promoters and actors of the video; and Amitabh Bachchan himself. The inquiry was ordered on a complaint filed by advocate Davindersingh Rakkad accusing KBC team and promoters for defaming lawyers.
